Salvation - How Can I Know That Heaven Is My Home?

Realize that everyone is a sinner!

Romans 3:23

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.

Realize the penalty for sin!

Romans 6:23

For the wages of sin is death: but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Realize that God loves you!

John 3:16

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Finally, pray and ask Jesus Christ to be your personal Saviour

Romans 10:13

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

We would like to help you call on the Lord to be your personal Saviour. Please understand that it is not the words of the prayer that save you, but rather your faith in Jesus Christ. If you are unsure of what to say, simply pray something like this:

Lord, I know that I am a sinner. I ask you to forgive me of my sins. I right now accept you as my personal Saviour. I believe that you died on the cross, were buried in the tomb, and rose again on the third day. Thank you for saving me. Amen!
